AUK alumna Taiba Al-Humaidhi Honored by AACSB as 2025 Influential Leader

The American University of Kuwait (AUK) proudly announces that alumna Ms. Taiba Al-Humaidhi has been recognized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in its 2025 Class of Influential Leaders. This global recognition honors 24 alumni making impactful changes through innovation and social impact.
Ms. Taiba Al-Humaidhi, a 2006 graduate from AUK’s College of Business and Economics, is the founding executive of Lei Wa Lakom, an initiative for women’s empowerment. She is recognized in the Community or Social Impact category for her leadership in fostering an inclusive environment for women in Kuwait and beyond.
As a member of AUK’s inaugural business administration class, Taiba has focused on entrepreneurship and innovation. She previously worked at Zain Kuwait and co-founded BTZ Group, Floward, and Serve Bakery. Her venture, Lei Wa Lakom, connects women with mentors to help them achieve personal and professional goals.
The AACSB Influential Leaders award celebrates alumni from accredited business schools whose work addresses today’s challenges. Taiba’s recognition highlights her contributions to social impact and her efforts in promoting collaboration, empowerment, and opportunity.
