The American University of Kuwait (AUK) is officially certified as a Great Place to Work, based on feedback from nearly 200 staff and faculty through the Trust Index Survey. Respondents highlighted a strong sense of physical safety, pride in the university, and a welcoming experience. This reflects a culture of safety, inclusion, and shared pride, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual respect.
AUK President Dr. Rawda Awwad emphasized the authenticity of the community's feedback, noting that the recognition is due to the collective effort of individuals who contribute to the university's positive environment. The university is committed to continuous improvement, using survey feedback to guide future initiatives.
Executive Director of Human Capital and Facilities Management, Mr. Paul Bassil, stated that the certification reflects the culture built at AUK, validating their commitment to trust, inclusion, and wellbeing.
