AUK Graduates Class of 2025

American University of Kuwait (AUK) held its graduation for the class of 2025 on June 25, conferring degrees on 424 graduates: 158 from the College of Arts and Sciences, 143 from the College of Business and Economics, and 123 from the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Among them, 7 graduates received summa cum laude, 30 magna cum laude, and 45 cum laude honors. The ceremony at The Arena Kuwait was attended by Sheikha Dana Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and other dignitaries. AUK president, Dr. Rawda Awwad, highlighted Kuwait's cultural heritage and its alignment with AUK's educational vision. The keynote speech by Her Excellency Aliya Mawani, Ambassador of Canada to Kuwait, urged graduates to use their skills for positive impact.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Farhan announced the valedictorian, Yousef Al-Hamad, who earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering with a GPA of 3.94. Yousef encouraged his peers to cherish their experiences. The ceremony concluded with the awarding of degrees and the traditional tassel shift. AUK is known for academic excellence, offering 16 accredited programs and fostering collaboration and cultural diversity. It received institutional accreditation from the Private Universities Council in 2006, with various programs accredited by AACSB, AALE, NASAD, CEA, and ABET.
