Burgan Bank has expanded its SoftPOS solution, powered by K-NET, allowing merchants to accept credit card payments via smartphones. This upgrade positions Burgan Bank among the first in Kuwait to offer a comprehensive SoftPOS solution for debit, credit, and prepaid card payments, replacing traditional POS devices.
SoftPOS turns compatible smartphones into secure payment terminals, providing merchants, SMEs, startups, and home-based businesses with a cost-effective way to accept contactless payments anywhere. This service supports Burgan Bank's digital transformation strategy and Kuwait's Vision 2035 for a cashless economy, enabling flexible and mobile payment methods.
