Reaffirming its commitment to fostering a data-driven culture and investing in the Bank’s human capital

Burgan Bank has launched the Data Champion bootcamp, a month-long program designed to enhance data analytics skills among its employees. Developed in partnership with CODED, the first coding academy in the region, this initiative aims to foster data fluency and accelerate digital transformation within the bank. The bootcamp will train selected employees across various departments in data analytics tools like Power BI and Excel Dashboards, focusing on real banking scenarios to drive smarter decisions and customer-centric innovation.


Ms. Fatma Ahmad, Senior Manager – Learning and Development at Burgan Bank, emphasized the importance of embedding data thinking into all operations to deliver a seamless banking experience. Mr. Hashim Behbehani, Co-Founder and COO of CODED, highlighted the program's role in investing in national talent and enhancing technical skills.
The initiative aligns with Burgan Bank’s sustainability strategy and Kuwait’s Vision 2035 by supporting human capital development and digital transformation. Participants will complete a capstone project to apply their skills to real business challenges, with graduates recognized as "Data Champions."
