Burgan Bank organizes blood donation drive
Burgan Bank held its annual blood donation campaign at its headquarters with the Central Blood Bank, reinforcing its commitment to healthcare support in Kuwait. The campaign aimed to maintain blood supplies and support strategic reserves, enhancing the healthcare system's capacity for patient and emergency needs.
Burgan Bank employees, their families, and Boursa Kuwait staff participated, highlighting the importance of private-sector collaboration in healthcare support. The ongoing campaign underscores the Bank's dedication to encouraging employee and partner involvement in humanitarian efforts and fostering a culture of giving.
Ms. Zahra Boarki, Senior Manager – Internal Communication at Burgan Bank, emphasized the Bank's commitment to involving employees in meaningful humanitarian initiatives, coinciding with the Central Blood Bank's appeal for donations. The high participation level demonstrated strong collaboration and responsibility.
Ms. Boarki noted the significant impact of blood donation in supporting patients, expressing pride in the engagement that aligns with Burgan Bank's values and "Driven by You" slogan.
The campaign also included awareness on the "Let’s Be Aware" (Diraya) banking awareness initiative by the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Banking Association, covering financial literacy, fraud prevention, and safe banking practices.
