Burgan Bank, committed to employee empowerment, gender equity, and sustainable development, participated in a forum celebrating Kuwait Women’s Day. The event, titled “Strategies to Empower Kuwaiti Women in Accordance with SDG 5,” was attended by Ms. Danah Faisal AlJasem, General Manager of Corporate Communications, and other female leaders from the bank.
Ms. AlJasem engaged in discussions on the private sector’s role in empowering women and overcoming workplace challenges. She emphasized Burgan Bank’s dedication to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, aligning with Kuwait’s Vision 2035. Women make up 46% of the bank’s employees and 34% of leadership roles. The bank invests in female growth through training programs like Empower Her and Lean-In Circle for Women Empowerment, providing mentorship and networking opportunities.
