Burgan Bank Renews Strategic Sponsorship of Academy X with CODED for a Second Consecutive Year

Burgan Bank has renewed its strategic sponsorship of Academy X with CODED for the second year, reinforcing its commitment to empowering young Kuwaiti women with skills needed for the digital economy. This initiative supports national talent development and aligns with the Bank's ESG framework and Kuwait Vision 2035.
Hessa AlNajadah, Senior Manager at Burgan Bank, emphasized the importance of investing in young Kuwaiti women’s education and empowerment. Last year, over 500 students graduated from Academy X. The Bank aims to enhance participants' skills in tech entrepreneurship and AI-powered marketing while promoting financial literacy through the Let’s Be Aware campaign, ultimately aiding their career success and contributing to Kuwait’s growth.
Fatima Ahmad, Senior Manager at Burgan Bank, highlighted the program’s role in bridging the gap between education and workforce needs, supporting the Bank’s digital transformation strategy.
Hashim Behbehani, Co-Founder of CODED Academy, stressed the importance of equipping young women with skills and confidence to innovate and lead. Academy X offers practical experience and mentorship, preparing participants for future challenges. Behbehani expressed gratitude to Burgan Bank for making these opportunities accessible.
Academy X is a free, year-round program for female students, focusing on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It includes mentorship and guidance from prominent female leaders in Kuwait’s tech and entrepreneurship sectors. Burgan Bank’s ongoing support reflects its dedication to empowering young women and contributing to Kuwait’s sustainable future.
