Burgan Bank Turkey Named “Most Active Issuing Bank” by EBRD for 2024

Burgan Bank Turkey has been awarded the title of “2024 Most Active Issuing Bank in Türkiye” for its outstanding performance in trade finance under the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP).
The award was presented at a ceremony held in London, as part of the EBRD’s TFP events. The gathering brought together senior representatives from the international banking and finance sectors. Burgan Bank was recognized for the strength of its specialized trade finance team, its solution-oriented approach, expanding trade volume, broad global correspondent network, and a solid balance sheet.
The award was accepted on behalf of the Bank by Arda Türerer, Deputy General Manager of Treasury, Capital Markets, and Financial Institutions. Mr. Türerer also participated as a speaker in the panel discussion titled “Digitalization of International Trade,” held during the EBRD’s Annual Meeting.
