Digitus Group for Digital Infrastructure, Data Centers & Communications K.S.C.P. (“Digitus”) successfully increased its capital to KWD 10.7 million, with the offering oversubscribed by 21 times, indicating strong investor confidence. This capital increase, part of a broader restructuring plan, aims to enhance the company's capital structure and support sustainable growth.
Kamco Invest managed the capital increase, issuing 60 million shares at 100 fils each, raising KWD 6 million. The high demand reflects confidence in Digitus's growth strategy in the digital infrastructure sector.
Digitus is strengthening its position as a regional digital infrastructure leader in the GCC, focusing on developing and operating hyperscale data centers. Its integrated model includes development, execution, operations, and connectivity solutions, facilitating efficient deployment for global cloud service providers.
Key contracts, such as with Nokia in Saudi Arabia and a data center project for Google in Kuwait, highlight Digitus's robust business model and strategic milestones. Vice Chairman and CEO Mr. Bader Fahed Al-Rezaihan emphasized the capital increase's role in supporting expansion plans in digital infrastructure and cloud solutions.
