KIPCO Hosts IFRS Updates Workshop for Group Finance Teams

KIPCO’s Finance & Accounts Department organized a technical workshop titled “IFRS Updates for 2026/27,” bringing together 120 finance team representatives from across the Group, both in person and online.
In his opening remarks, KIPCO’s Group CFO, Mr. Moustapha Chami, highlighted the importance of such workshops in keeping finance teams across the Group up to date with developments in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and financial reporting requirements.
The workshop was delivered by RSM Kuwait Assurance Partners Sriram Gopalakrishnan and Firas Georges. The program covered key IFRS updates for 2026 and 2027, including IFRS 18.
