UGFS North Africa Concludes Youth Employment Programme in Tunisia

UGFS North Africa successfully concluded its participation in the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE) programme in Tunisia, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote sustainable and inclusive employment opportunities for young people.
UGFS North Africa’s contribution accounted for nearly 60% of the programme’s overall impact in Tunisia, supporting businesses and facilitating investment projects that generated new economic opportunities.
Through the programme, 4,645 jobs were created, improved or matched, 811 young people received training, 1,898 young women were empowered to access better professional and economic opportunities, and 76 businesses across strategic sectors received financing.
Building on the programme’s success, UGFS North Africa is continuing its sustainable investment efforts through its new Green 4 Employment (G4E) platform, which aims to support sustainable businesses, create green jobs and promote inclusive economic growth across Tunisia and North Africa.
