Ms. Zahra Boarki, Senior Manager – Culture and Employee Engagement, expressed pride in the female colleagues who are essential to the bank’s achievements. The event was well-received, reflecting the bank's inclusive culture and belief that empowering women is crucial for workplace balance and sustainability.
Ms. Fatma Ahmad, Senior Manager – Learning and Development, highlighted that Burgan Bank Women’s Day is part of a broader series of programs to support women, ensuring a motivating work environment. The event included workshops and panels with female leaders discussing professional growth, personal development, and mental wellness.
Held at the bank’s headquarters, the event featured diverse activities, including workshops, panel discussions, wellness experiences, and a showcase for female entrepreneurs. Panels covered topics like "Economic Empowerment of Kuwaiti Women" and "Mental Wellness and Overcoming Challenges."
A LeanIn Circle workshop led by Ms. Fatma Ahmad focused on workplace changes needed to support women. Health sessions included cervical cancer awareness and enhancing immunity and menopause management. The event concluded with personalized wellness consultations.
